Founded in 2004, with the goal of to identifying, acquiring and developing new oilfields in the most oil producing regions of Canada and Africa.

SEGC is seeking the opportunities of oil production using innovative technologies for the development of difficult oil fields and implementation of the latest oil production equipment and chemical solutions to maximize oil output.

Siberian Energy Group Inc. (Nasdaq Bulletin Board: SIBN) is one of the few U.S. public oil and gas exploration companies with 100% of its assets in West Siberia, Russia.

The Company evaluates investment and acquisition opportunities in Russia and Eastern Europe with the goal of bringing a portfolio of highly lucrative natural resource assets and operating companies to Western investors, and strives to provide an attractive ROI to shareholders by pursuing high-yield investment projects, reducing costs, and adhering to strict principles of transparency, disclosure and environmental consciousness.

SEG's current public portfolio includes a 50% ownership stake in the Russian oil and gas exploration company, Zauralneftegaz (ZNG). In March 2003, ZNG obtained four licenses for oil exploration in the Kurgan Region of Western Siberia. Since June 2006, the Company has 5 exploration licenses in eastern Kurgan Region. The licenses were obtained through Federal Government tenders. Western Siberia currently accounts for 70% of oil and 90% of natural gas production in Russia, which equals to 7% of World output. The licenses are located along the pipeline infrastructure and are within close proximity of producing fields currently owned and operated by many of the World's major oil companies. Our primary focus today is on the development of our operations as well as other highly promising concessions in Western Siberia.
